City of Hull & District Origin Series Returns for 2025

The City of Hull and District Origin Rugby League Series is back this September, bringing one of the biggest rivalries in community rugby league to the professional stage.

Divided by the River Hull, the city has long been split into two proud rugby league heartlands: East Hull and West Hull.

The series is regarded as a showcase of the best community talent Hull has to offer. Youngsters will get the chance to represent their clubs and their side of the city in front of large crowds at Sewell Group Craven Park, the home of Hull KR. With scouts, current and former professionals watching on, the event provides an exciting platform for the next generation of rugby league stars.

This year, fixtures take place over Saturday 13th September and Sunday 14th September 2025, featuring five matches across two days: Under 11s, Under 12s, Under 13s, Under 14s and Under 15s. Each contest will see East Hull take on West Hull in a battle for bragging rights.
